Downtown Alliance - Salt Lake City, Utah

Downtown Kiosk & Banner Program

bannersThe Downtown Alliance accepts applications year round for the Downtown Kiosk and Banner Programs.

Kiosks

Downtown Alliance manages the rental of the kiosks found on Main Street. This is a great way to advertise events and activities occurring at a downtown Salt Lake City venue. There are five kiosks with four windows available for rent to nonprofit organizations. Religious, political and for-profit promotional posters will not be accepted. The Central Business District is comprised of the areas between North Temple and 400 South and between 200 East and 500 West. Organizations, subject matter and poster content must be approved by The Downtown Alliance at least 30 days before the anticipated promotion schedule.

Banners

The Banner Program is another great way to advertise events and activities within the Central Business District of downtown Salt Lake City. The banners on double bracket poles located on both sides of West Temple and State Street from South Temple to 400 South must be eight feet in length. All other banner poles downtown hold six foot banners.

A minimum contract includes 14 (for 6ft locations) or 28 (for 8ft locations) banners that generally cover both sides of the street for one block. The maximum number of locations is limited by the space available. Space can be reserved up to one year in advance.

The application, guidelines and other helpful information is found below. For additional information and availability, please call Kristin Beck at 801-333-1104 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
