WHAT: Downtown Salt Lake City is "Home of the UTES". Downtown businesses helped Paint the Town Red by decorating their business or storefront to show support for the University of Utah Football team during the first PAC12 season. Thanks for helping to show that our downtown is "Home of the Utes".

WHEN: The contest began at the start of Homecoming week. Judging was conducted October 21st by the U Cheerleaders, Dance Team and Swoop. Awards will be presented during halftime of the Utah vs. UCLA football game on November 12.

PRIZES:

FIRST PLACE: $2,000 cash prize plus 6 tickets to the Utah vs. UCLA football game, 1st place trophy and a signed and framed canvas print of Rice Eccles Stadium plus 10 red Ute baseball caps.

SECOND PLACE: $1000 cash prize, 4 tickets to the Utah vs. UCLA  game, second place trophy plus 10 red Ute baseball caps.

THIRD PLACE: $500 cash prize, 4 tickets to the Utah vs. UCLA  game, 3rd place trophy, plus 10 red Ute baseball caps.
